My Design Studio

Welcome to "STUDIO S"-lol, I know its corny. So I have spent the last 2 days cleaning out this DISASTER...I work out of a closet so my space is very LIMITED!! I am very fortunate and grateful to have this space as opposed to the kitchen table.... My dream one day is to have a actual room with a ton of wall space. Those of you who have been down here know its NEVER this tidy. I dunno, I see to work better in the kaos. My husbands fisrt words were "whoa its clean"

My Little Guy

So I have been feeling incredibly guilty lately because I haven't been able get to my son's album. These are a few of my favorite pics that a friend of mine took this summer. The lighting isn't the greatest to show the texture. The background paper is a black shimmer sort.

The best part of 2008

This was a layout my sister and I came across in a magazine that we thought was a great way to sum up the year!! We both scrapped it the same night without even knowing it...hehe

my latest board book-which i absolutely love!!!

I love how this little book turned out, I think I'm getting hooked!! I chose a few of my favorite pictures of my daughter that I haven't had a chance to scrapbbok yet, and a few things I love about her and put this together. The cover compliments her bedroom perfectly!

The journalling on this page are the lyrics to MY WISH by Rascall Flatts, yup it had the tears rolling when I heard it!

Altered journals

Another great gift giving idea!! This first journal was done for a girlfriend of mine who is getting married this summer. The purpose is for her to pass it around on her bridal shower and everyone write in a favorite recipe!!

This was made for my JOHN DEERE obsessed brother. Very simple, and I told him its a great way to keep track of his work hours, great quotes, ect. (he's 13)

Hockey Memorbelia

This frame was done for future NHL player (hopefully :)) Nazem Kadri. It was to represent his OHL years with The Kitchener Rangers. The frame was quite large and as you can see had alot of newspaper clippings so I stuck with a collage style.

Shown here is a deep shadow box holding the team pic and also his first puck scored for the team, memorial cup puck, and team puck. I also framed jerseys for him, so those pictures will be up shortly!!

Premade Baby Boy Chipboard Album

Here is a great gift for new parents! Its designed to just simply add photos for each month and a great way to record milestones for the first year. I made this for my sister for her 2nd baby because I found with my second I wasn't very good at keeping track of certain milestones. There are specific journalling tags to keep record!! My plan for this album is to add a bit more embellishments once the photos are added. I'll post those soon!

Family Acrylic Album

So this is my first acrylic album. I'm hooked!!! This is a great gift for anyone and can be suited to any theme or just favorite photos.

These can be done in 6x6 or 8x8.

Vacation frame

This frame was given as a Christmas gift to grandparents to remember their recent trip to Holland. Included was a keychain of the little dutch shoes. The little souveneirs add character to the frame.

Children

These adorable frames were so much fun!! The last 3 frames are all siblings and they coordinate with each other and also the wedding frame a few posts down. They were all made to coordinate with the home decor and color scheme of the home. Alot of possibilities!!

Remembering Dad

The inspiration for this frame was the touching letter a son wrote for his father who recently passed away. I really enjoyed making this frame and the appreciation received from the family was very rewarding. I'm glad I was able to preserve a special memory.
